The Insider Reality: If location matters to your family, this is where Zafiro Can Picafort has an advantage.
The hotel is positioned in the resort rather than feeling like a self-contained holiday village. That means you have access to the wider Can Picafort area rather than being entirely dependent on hotel facilities.
Inside the resort, families have spacious accommodation, daily entertainment and a waterpark-style pool area. Zafiro's own family pages describe it as a family-focused resort with spacious suites, entertainment and water attractions.
Logistical Win: The hotel is in the centre of Can Picafort and around 700 metres from the beach, while Playa de Muro is about 20 minutes away. That makes it a useful choice for families who want both resort convenience and the option to explore the wider Alcudia Bay area.
Who It's Best For: Families who value location, easy access to the resort and having restaurants, shops and the beach within walking distance.

May, June, September and October can offer a useful balance of warm weather and fewer crowds than the peak summer months.
July and August are typically the busiest period. If you're travelling during school holidays, booking popular family hotels well ahead can make a significant difference.
Getting Around
Renting a car is worth considering if you want to explore the Tramuntana Mountains, smaller villages or attractions around the island.
But if you're staying in a family resort and don't plan to travel extensively, you may not need one. Hotels such as Club Mac also provide useful shuttle services, while Mallorca's public transport network connects many of the major resort areas.
